We The BC exists to change one word. BC has been read as Backward Caste for so long that the communities it names began to hear it as a verdict. It is not. It is Backbone of the Country.
The farmer, the weaver, the potter, the fisherman, the barber, the blacksmith, the washerman, the toddy tapper. Strip these out of Telangana and there is no Telangana left — no food, no cloth, no tools, no trade. That is not a sentimental claim. It is a structural one.
This site does two things. It records these communities honestly, with sources, so that the account of who they are does not stay in other people's hands. And it counts them — every member who registers is one more name on a roll that says: we are here, we are many, and we carry this.

About the emblem
A crowd of BC men and women stands together, one fist raised, against the light of the land that their work holds up. It is a movement, not a monument: nobody stands above anyone else, and the fist belongs to all of them.
